Review and finalize updates to the RBNA By-Laws/Constitution Document
Articles 1-4: No change.
Article 5: Remove expectation that all members attend one meeting per year.
Article 6: No change.
Article 7: Complete rewrite changing the governing structure of the neighborhood association from Officers to a Board.
Article 8: Eliminate the Annual Meeting and change requirement that quarterly meetings will be held on the second Monday.
Article 9: Minor change to allow amendments to be approved at any membership meeting.
Article 10: State a process for notifying members and dispersing monies in the bank.
Betty send both original and updated bylaw documents, with summary of changes. These will be posted to the RBNA website. An email will be sent to members with a link to documents for review.
Plans for March quarterly meeting
Notice to members will be sent to membership that bylaw updates are to be ratified at the March 20, 2019 meeting.
Invite Shiva and let know know that we’re making structural changes.
$800 dollars in treasury.
Current building projects in the neighborhood
Betty asked Fladd about construction project. June 19th. Still on schedule. Ridge may reopen with the building. Including a neighborhood sign. City told Fladd that they would not allow. We may need to follow up. Matt Tucker w/ city is the person to be contacted. Can we put up a sign? Shiva first contact.
Fire lane on Harvey where garage is currently. Paperwork had to be re-filed. There was some concern about trees by one owner at nearby 4-plex turned condo.
2946 Stevens Street approved for new house construction with ADU behind it.
See email from Thomas Schmock re: median being closed at Schmit. Tom will include RBNA in any email conversation on with Shiva. (link to email).
Tim will contact city regarding Jason Mack name still being listed as the RBNA contact name. Tim will also ask if there is paperwork regarding RBNA’s change in structure.
Dog leash warnings being given after a dog bite incident in/near the park.
